Symphonic Evening
A “Symphonic Evenings” initiative that brings the orchestral concert experience to audiences who may not have access to major concert halls. Under the guiding idea of “symphonic repertoire reimagined on an intimate scale,” we present carefully arranged versions of major works for chamber ensemble, including pieces such as Beethoven’s Symphony No. 6 (“Pastoral”), in a tradition that already existed in Beethoven’s time. By performing in smaller, more accessible venues, we reach audiences who might not otherwise attend a symphonic concert, offering them a first encounter with this repertoire in a more immediate and approachable setting while preserving the musical depth and narrative of the original works.
